The legendary Reiner 1812 that had only been available as a "1S" pressing after it was deleted following the Mercury 1812 release that featured live cannon shots. That makes the original RCA Living Stereo version very rare. This performance is mind bending and features the incomparable Chicago Symphony Orchestra brass section. This reissue was cut for the first time from the original 30 inches per second session master tape, which adds significantly to the low level information and clarity on the LP. Pressed on Classic’s 200-gram Quiex vinyl.
