Both the Standard and Bluetooth models of the foxL have been upgraded to v2 status; v2 versions play up to 3dB louder than original versions and include an anti-"dance" mat. Other improvements include tweaks to the foxL's excellent "Twoofers" for smoother deeper bass and greater air and extension. The Bluetooth model now has 3x the range of the original, with dramatically lower distortion and noise. The foxL BT v2 will now also automatically pair and search for a Bluetooth partner device. Handset features have also been improved, the foxL BT v2 now allows the user to answer and terminate calls directly from the speaker!

Soundmatters engineers worked closely with it's factory partner, one of the largest manufacturers of mobile phones, to ensure that foxL's implementation of Bluetooth's v.2.0 A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile) technology was optimized for both wide audio bandwidth and low distortion (as opposed to maximum distance)...this extra effort ensures surprisingly high quality stereo music streaming.

foxL's built-in noise and echo canceling microphone circuitry, coupled with the speaker systems remarkable voice clarity, make it a superb choice for hands-free and conference call applications. When a call comes in while listening to music streamed via Bluetooth musicphone, foxL automatically switches so you'll hear/and be able to speak to the caller, when the call is finished music returns.
