Nana Mouskouri grew up on American jazz and black gospel. She attended a classical music conservatory, but was thrown out when it was learned that she was playing jazz on the side. She later worked with Harry Belafonte and Quincy Jones. She's an articulate, resonant soprano. The best selling female artist of all time worldwide, she is to Europe what Streisand is to America, her career spanning across four decades.

Mastering from the original tapes on a Neumann VMS 80 done by Willem Makkee, who is known for his Speakers Corner "Decca" reissues on 180-gram vinyl at Pallas in Germany.
